Seribu Islands Regent, Irmansyah said, Tidung Island was chosen as a pilot, because it has many aspects. They are starting from the fields of tourism, seaweed farming, worship place, land, and there are also buffer islands, namely Payung Island and Tidung Kecil Island.
"In early phase, we will collect data regarding its population, land status, homestay, farmers, and tourism. Then we will create some programs and activities. Those will be proposed and reviewed in 2018 and implemented in 2019," he explained, Wednesday (11/15).
